Alexandria Seydel relies on her strong background in business and finance to advise clients on corporate governance and mergers and acquisitions.  Alex concentrates her practice in the firm's Business Organizations/Transactions and Real Estate practice groups.

Alex's career began before law school, when she spent several years working in the mortgage industry and served as a legal assistant to a real estate property tax law firm.  Alex is building a practice in all areas of business and real estate law, with a particular interest in assisting clients in the growing industries of social innovation, impact investing, and all types of for-profit socially-driven entities (see Benefit Corporations and L3C's).

Alex currently resides in Lincoln Park and is dying for a puppy.  In her free time, Alex plays pick-up soccer, roots for the Hawkeyes, and enjoys exploring Chicago neighborhoods by visiting local coffee shops.
