Andrea Briski helps clients close deals. Her broad experience managing real estate transactions of all types and sizes, from single-office leases to multi-billion-dollar syndicated loans, and everything in-between, allows her to anticipate and resolve issues before they turn into business-critical problems.
Andrea guides buyers and sellers, landlords and tenants, REITs and investors, owners, banks, developers, finance companies, management groups, lenders, borrowers, and others through complex commercial real estate deals, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing transactions.
She has represented several major international financial institutions in all real estate aspects of complex credit facilities, including one of the five largest banks in the world on a multi-million dollar refinance transaction with a national restaurant chain involving more than 70 properties in 15 states. More recently, Andrea assisted a prominent real estate investment company in the acquisition of a 105-acre pharmaceutical facility.
Her clients count on her proactive, hands-on approach to keep projects on schedule. They appreciate her regular communication and responsiveness to their questions and concerns. And they depend on her accuracy, precision, and attention to detail to usher their deals through without unnecessary complications.
In one matter, Andrea's client sought to establish a Chicago-based museum. Andrea managed all of the real estate work that allowed the museum to find a permanent home, including assisting in the negotiation of construction and architect agreements, resolution of zoning and easement matters, financing, and the sale of portions of space within the facility.
Prior to law school, Andrea worked at a real estate title examiner and, more recently, as a commercial escrow officer, giving her an in-depth understanding of the real estate industry in general, and title insurance, underwriting concerns, and closing logistics in particular.
She is a fitness enthusiast and practices kickboxing, spinning, and yoga. She is an avid reader and enjoys traveling and volunteering.
