Every lender in Illinois should review its current mortgage forms to ensure that all the statutorily required information is expressly included. If a previously recorded mortgage does not include all of this required information, lenders should attempt to obtain and record an amendment to the mortgage and be sure to include the required information in any forbearance agreements or other loan amendments or modifications.
